一九六六年五月十六号，中共中央政治局扩大会议，在北京通过了，毛泽东主持起草的《五­•一六通知》， 标志着"文化大革命"全面发动，距今已五十年。在人们担心文革可能会在中国死灰复燃的­当下，反思五十年前的那场浩劫，似乎很有必要。为此，本台将陆续播出“文革五十年反思­系列”，希望从不同角度，以不同形式，反思历史，并以防止，文革重演警醒世人。今天我­们将推出：教授和青年的对话：文革是怎么回事儿？访谈节目。

听众谈话

RFA设有十一个电话交谈节目：普通话四个、广东话一个、高棉语一个、藏语四个、维吾­尔语一个。 听众可以拨打免费号码，直接与主持人交谈。 每天的播出内容中都将包含遍布亚洲的记者以及特约记者提供的报导。 我们在曼谷、香港、金边、台北、东京设有办事处，并在首尔、安卡拉以及印度的达兰萨拉 (Dharamsala) 设有小型办公室。

所有广播均从RFA位於华盛顿特区的总部播出。

A. Simon's Cat is made using Adobe Flash / TV Paint animation software.

Q. Why does it take so long to make each Simon's Cat film?
A. Even though the films are made on computer software, they are still hand-animated in a traditional manner, frame to frame. It usually takes between 12 and 25 drawings to create 1 second of a Simon's Cat film.
